Hi There!Within The Frame is an annual animation challenge where artists are tasked with creating a short film in just 7 days based on a given prompt.Works are then compiled into a film ANTHOLOGY and screened in celebration of the many ways creativity can thrive within limitations.

We aim to encourage independent artists to undertake their own projects and learn from one another- it’s no secret that animation is a laborious art form, by working within limitations you can discover unexpected ways to work around them! Stop motion, hand-drawn animation, CGI, and live action film are just a few of the techniques you’ll see from our filmmakers,
who come from all around the world.We love filmmaking, and want to see more of it.

Haley Stemmons
Haley is a director and animator, currently studying at CalArts. He likes making people laugh and make more films! With a passion for 2D animated filmmaking, he finds himself often drawn to exploring relationship dynamics and warped perspective in his work.Some of his favorite emoticons are :3c,

Anjali Pulim
Anjali is a filmmaker and freelance animator who loves to make and loves to learn. She is a recent SVA BFA Animation grad currently expanding her skillset and looking out for cool projects whether it be animation, design, or illustration. When not working,
she's most likely daydreaming about
